The Bachelor of Arts
degree in Environmental Studies
at United States International University (USIU)
is a broad, interdisciplinary major with practical applications which
draws from the sciences, humanities, international relations, economics
and geography. The distinguishing characteristic of the USIU program is
its international, hands-on focus, integrating social sciences with
environmental problem solving.
The program will prepare you for an exciting environmental career through classes in
Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Design (i.e. straw bale
construction), Environmental Science, Ethics, Law, Restoration, Regional Environment,
Energy Use and Management, Water Use and Management, and of course Field
Studies, which could lead to paid internships and full time jobs.
